So much for the heat--after last night's line of showers and storms, things have once again cooled down across the state. Northwest winds emerge again, keeping humidity at bay.

Highs Thursday top out in the low 80s--which is normal for late August, but temperatures will struggle in the 70s for Friday.

And Labor Day weekend? It’s a mixed bag. We begin another warm up on Saturday, with higher temperatures and humidity on Sunday and Labor Day. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible for Sunday and Monday.
