Tonight will not be nearly as cool as the last couple nights as clouds will move in ahead of a developing warm front. This warm front will slowly approach Connecticut with showers and thunderstorms late Sunday and Sunday night in which some of these storms could produce locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. It will not be a complete washout as the warm front moves north of the region on Labor Day; expect a mix of hazy sun and clouds along with increasing heat and humidity. Next week will feel like July rather than September, as temperatures could reach the 90 degree mark by the middle of next week. Don’t put the beachwear away yet!
