Manchester police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect they believe is linked to a credit card theft.

Police say on Thursday an elderly woman accidentally left her wallet on the counter at a Family Dollar store near Middle Turnpike West. That’s when a woman allegedly stole the wallet and charged over a thousand dollars on the victims credit cards, police said.

Police say the suspect is described as a heavier set  female with a large afro and was seen on store surveillance video.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this suspect is urged to contact Manchester Police at 860-645-5500.
