Fire Destroys Home In Hartford

A Hartford home went up in flames Tuesday night but the family escaped with no injuries.

Fire crews responded to 75 North Beacon St. around 11:30 p.m.   Everyone inside the home was alerted by smoke detectors and got outside.

Firefighters were able to rescue a dog that was trapped inside the house.

The Red Cross and the family's church are helping them out this morning with housing and other needs.

The cause is under investigation.
