New Website Helps Teens Navigate Mental Health Services

Connecticut is taking a new approach to helping teenagers who are struggling with mental health disorders.

The Department of Mental Health & Addiction servies has launched the website www.TurningPointCT.org.

The site provides resources for young people who are dealing with depression, stress, eating disorders, bullying and drug use.

Turning Point breaks down how to navigate the behavioral health system with treatment models, forums, and videos.

Young adults who are in recovery are also invited to share their personal stories and videos on the site.
