The U.S. Postal Service is offering a $25,000 reward after a postal truck driver was robbed by two masked men.

The robbery took place on the rear loading dock of the Barry Square Post Office in Hartford on Tuesday, Sept. 9, around 5:30 p.m.

Postal Service Offering Reward After Armed Robbery In Hartford

The suspects are described as two males possibly in their mid 20’s.  One is described as approximately 5’6” with a small build, wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black and blue shoes, a black face mask, and armed with a handgun. The second is described as approximately 5’8” – 5’9”, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, black shoes with red shoelaces and a black face mask.

Armed robbery of a postal employee carries a penalty of up to 25 years imprisonment.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) who robbed the driver.
