Middletown police are investigating a report of an assault that occurred early Sunday morning.
Police say a student at Wesleyan University reported being approached by a male in a white SUV and was grabbed by several other males.
The reported assault happened on Church Street shortly after midnight and the victim was later found by Wesleyan Public Safety.
Middletown Police are increasing patrols around the area and are working with Wesleyan University officials.
