Two West Haven Schools Without Power

Two schools in West Haven were without power Wednesday due to a transformer issue.

West Haven High School and Edith E. Mackrille Elementary School were without power because of transformer problems on Jones Hill Road.

The high school will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m. The elementary school will remain open.

The fire department will remain on the scene at the elementary school for any assistance needed and the school will provide alternative lunches.
