Even though we're expecting a few high clouds to move in during the day on Wednesday, it still does not look like a bad day by any means. Temperatures will be comfortable, topping out around 70 degrees.
A low pressure system will come up from the south and give us the chance for showers by dawn on Thursday, with heavier rain expected during the morning and mid-day hours. Minor street flooding is possible in some of the heavier downpours, but the ground is very dry, so we can consider this rain "much-needed".
Around 3 inches of rain is possible in southern and eastern Connecticut, with much lesser amounts the further north and west you go in CT.
This weekend will bring on abundant sunshine with warmer temperatures around 80 degrees!
