Earlier this month the Cincinnati Bengals signed Devon Still to the practice squad, all so his daughter, Leah, could get the cancer care she needs.
Leah went into surgery on Thursday, and on the way to the hospital Still posted this video:
After Still posted another image with the following caption:
“After a 5hr 50min surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from…best news I’ve received in a long time #PrayForLeah #GodIsGood #ThanksForYourSupport”
Leah is not completely cancer free. “She has stage [four cancer] which means the cancer spread to her bone marrow, which we hope will be removed with her next couple of treatments,” Devon wrote on twitter.
