The Connecticut Chapter of The ALS Association is holding their 2014 Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday.
The walk will take place at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain. Registration and activities open at 10:00 a.m.
Participants can either register a walk team online, make a donation, or participate as an individual walker.
Attendees can also enjoy several family-friendly activities such as an ice bucket challenge themed tent.
Proceeds from the walk will benefit patients in Connecticut living with ALS and the ALSA mission to support research projects to find a cure.
