Possible Record High Temperatures tomorrow

If you like today you’ll love Sunday as high pressure will continue to deliver plenty of sunshine and very warm temperatures for this time of year.  In fact the record high on Sunday is 83 degrees set back in 1959.   There is a very good chance that the 55 year old record will be shattered by a couple of degrees.  The summer-like temperatures will continue into Monday before clouds roll in late in the day well ahead of a cold front.  The front will push through the region late Monday night into early Tuesday with the chance for a few scattered light showers.   The cold front will clear the area late Tuesday followed by more sunshine and seasonable weather Wednesday and Thursday.  Meanwhile, a storm off the South Carolina Coast will develop and slowly track northeast with rain just off-shore by Friday and next weekend.   There is the chance that some rain may try to move into southern New England by next weekend.
