Monday Weather: Cooler Weather Moves In

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

We broke a record high temperature at Bradley Airport on Sunday. The old record was 83 (set in 1959), and we smashed it, reaching 87 at 3:09 PM.

The summer-like temperatures will continue into Monday before clouds roll in late in the day well ahead of a cold front.  The front will push through the region late Monday night into early Tuesday with the chance for a few scattered light showers.

The cold front will clear the area late Tuesday followed by more sunshine and seasonable weather Wednesday and Thursday.  Meanwhile, a storm off the South Carolina Coast will develop and slowly track northeast with rain just off-shore by Friday and weekend.
