Bravo Recalls Pet Food For Salmonella Contamination

Bravo of Manchester, Conn. is recalling select bags of dog and cat food made of Turkey and Chicken because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, the company said.

Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, the company said. Bravo said people can get sick if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.
