Tammy Costello, the former bus driver accused of driving children drunk is expected in Hartford superior court Tuesday.
On Aug. 27, police said Costello was driving with a blood alcohol level three times that of the commercial bus driver limit.
She was arrested for driving under the influence and is now looking at 20 felony counts of risk of injury to a child.
Costello was driving 20 students to Irving A. Robbins Middle School. After she faced the DUI charges, the M and J bus company fired her.
On the morning of her arrest, a police officer saw her swerve off the road. He later gave her a sobriety test and she failed. No students were injured that day.
Costello did post $25,000 bail in Sept., but still she will face a judge Tuesday in superior court.
