An anonymous donation to St. Bridget School in Cheshire has pushed education into the 21st century.
All 130 middle school students were given an iPad to use in school on Wednesday. An anonymous $50,000 grant allowed this to happen.
Annie Mackey, a student, said, "The teachers made it so they can see what we answer, and based on what we answer, they can teach us on the iPad."
Jack Noli, a seventh-grade student, said he already took a quiz on the iPad and that it will ehlp prevent cheating.
The teachers are using the new devices to supplement learning--textbooks will still be used, the iPads will just be a companion.
Barbara Gamache, a language arts teacher at the school, said the student-teacher relationship is going to change with the new technology because kids are embracing technology faster than ever before. "Unfortunately, most of the time they're leading us where to go!" she said.
