East Hartford Police are investigating a car vs. pedestrian accident on Main Street and Burnside Avenue. The accident was reported around 5:40 a.m.
Elzbieta Gwiazdowski, 56, was critically injured and transported to St. Francis Hospital. Police said Gwiazdowski was crossing the street when she was hit.
No charges have been filed.
