Brookfield Superintendent Of Schools Fired
Tony Bivona is no longer the superintendent of Brookfield Public Schools.
Bivona was accused of overspending $1.2 million of the district’s money. He was officially fired at the end of a four-hour special school board meeting, effective immediately. He also won’t receive severance.
The school board member who spoke with FOX CT said the meeting, which was held in the high school’s library, was packed.
