There are still many unanswered questions surrounding the death of a Hartford firefighter who died in the line of duty.
Thursday detectives will be going back out to the scene of the fire to hopefully shed some light on what happened leading up to 48-year-old Kevin Bell's death.
As word spread of Bell's passing family and friends spoke about his character.
Friends describe him as a class act guy who loved his daughter and who also loved to DJ on the side at local clubs.
According to Bell's father, his son wanted to be a firefighter after watching his cousin, a former Hartford fire chief follow the career path.
Bell's parents did not speak on camera but his brother and friends did.
They spoke about his character and the impact he had on so many lives.
"Whatever he touched he did it completely," said Bell's brother, Shawn Bell.
"It's so sad to see this happen to such a good person, who late in life wanted to serve his community in such an unselfish act," said Retired Hartford Fire Chief, Edward Casares.
A small memorial is set up in front of the Blue Hills fire station to honor the fallen firefighter.
