The victim killed in Waterbury accident has been identified.
Connecticut State Police said Kristie Bronson, 41 of Naugatuck was killed when a vehicle driven by Jorge Gonzalez- Flores, 22 of Hartford struck her as she was in the highway.
The accident happened about 2:46 a.m.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident.
An accident reconstruction team is working to figure out what factors were involved. Witnesses are asked to call police with any information.
