Students at Bristol Central High School are returning to class, after waiting outside for several hours while police investigated a bomb threat.
Bristol police said a student found a note that made reference to a bomb. After a search of the building, nothing was found.
Students, teachers and staff had been told to leave the building while emergency crews investigated. They exited the building at 8:10 a.m. The Hartford Police bomb squad was on the scene.
Bristol schools have been the subject of a number of threats this year.
