Robbery At Price Chopper In Bristol, 1 Person Arrested

Bristol police responded to a shoplifting call at Price Chopper on Farmington Avenue at 10:15 P.M. Wednesday night.

Once on scene, a police officer observed a suspect fitting the description supplied by the Loss Prevention Officer for the store. The officer eventually tackled and caught the suspect as he ran behind houses on Burlington Ave.   Police say they recovered health and beauty products that were reported stolen from the store.

Devon Crussana, 28, was charged with robbery, larceny, interfering with a police officer and criminal trespass.

Crussana was held on $25,000 bond pending his arraignment at the Superior Court in Bristol.
