Connecticut Restaurant & Beer Week kicks off Monday, October 13th and ends Sunday, October 19th.

This is a newly formed partnership for Connecticut Restaurant & Beer Week is in conjunction with the Connecticut Restaurant Association and the Connecticut Beer Wholesalers Association.

Restaurants across the state will offer a special Restaurant & Beer Week menu with prices at $20.14 or $30.14.  Diners and beer fans will also see promotions on their favorite Connecticut Craft Beers.

  • The industry generated $373.6 million in economic activity in 2012-and that is our latest figure with not nearly as many breweries as we have now. A 2014 economic study is coming at the end of this year!
  • Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price menus for either $20.14 or $30.14 and many restaurants will highlight our local Craft Beers in their restaurant week specials.
  • There is also a new "app" for Craft beer lovers called Untappd which people can use during Connecticut Beer & restaurant week. Untappd is a new way to socially share and explore the world of beer with your friends and the world. Curious what your friends are drinking or where they're hanging out? Just check their profile where you can toast and comment on their beers! Untappd will offer you beer recommendations based on what you and your friends have been enjoying, so you’ll have no reason to not try something new! As additional encouragement, Untappd allows you to earn a number of cool badges for completing a variety of different criteria.
