Five of the biggest U.S. airports are going to start screening some travelers for fevers, as part of an effort to keep Ebola out of the country.

The C.D.C. said people coming from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will be scanned using no-touch thermometers, which should cut down on the risk.  This will all start Monday at J.F.K. Airport in New York, as well as Newark Airport in New Jersey and three other airports that, together, handle most of the air traffic into the U.S. from West Africa...

New research has found that college athletes who play football, soccer and other contact sports are twice as likely to carry the superbug MRSA as athletes who play non-contact sports.

To help prevent yourself from getting MRSA, researchers said that good hygiene is one key - wash your hands frequently.  Soap and water will work just fine.  Also, avoid sharing personal items like towels and soap and razors.

A new study published in Sleep Magazine has gotten strangely precise about how much sleep we should get. In the study, researchers found that women need about 7.6 hours of sleep, and men need 7.8, although the average U.S. citizen gets only 6.7.
Doctors said that getting the right amount of sleep could help lower sleep related illnesses by nearly 30%.
