The teenager a Hartford Police detective tasered August 19 was back in court, but the appearance became less about Luis Anglero and more about his attorney.

Anglero's attorney, Jamaal T. Johnson, went on the record claiming in court that the prosecutor, Tom O'Brien, assaulted him and therefore he requested another prosecutor in the case.

Judge Thelma Santos responded that it was a separate matter for another time.

Johnson also argued that little information from the investigation has been shared since his client was tasered.

Outside court, Johnson deflected questions about his claims in court and instead called for charges against Anglero to be dropped.

"My client is completely innocent, he's done absolutely nothing wrong, he deserves to be exonerated, and we strongly believe that that's exactly what will happen," Johnson said.

Anglero is charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

He is due back in court the day after Thanksgiving, November 28.
