Today In CT: President Obama Attends Public Event In Bridgeport

Today In Connecticut:  President Barack Obama will be visiting the state today. He will be campaigning for Gov. Dan Malloy at a Rally in Bridgeport. The event is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Central High School.

Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman and other Democratic elected officials are also scheduled to attend.

Roads will be closed in the area as a result. Click here to find out about the closure details.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets were distributed Monday.
