It feels like summer out there today, with a tropical plume of moisture streaming up from the south. There may be a few showers during the day, but it won't be a washout. For the most part, temperatures will be in the 70s today, but if we see enough sunshine we could bring those temperatures up near 80 degrees.
Tonight we'll get some more organized rain in here, and it'll continue throughout the day. Thursday looks like a rainy day, with waves of downpours, and even a few thunderstorms possible. High temperatures will again be in the 70s. There may be some flooding rain, with an inch or two likely across much of the state.
After the rain gradually clears out, much cooler weather will fill in behind it. Expect a cool weekend with sunshine and temperatures in the 60s Saturday, and 50s Sunday.
