Man gets shot, drives himself to Hartford Hospital

A man parked his car on Hamilton Street in Hartford early Sunday morning, then two masked men came out of the darkness to rob him, he told Hartford police.

The two suspects had a semi-automatic handgun, and the victim was shot in his right arm after giving the suspects $20, police said.

The 36-year-old victim drove himself to Hartford Hospital after the shooting, police said. The condition of the victim is unknown.

The shooting happened at 3 a.m. at 47 Hamilton Street, Hartford police say.

The victim said a dark-skinned black male and light-skinned Hispanic male, both in their twenties, wearing mostly black clothing and wearing masks, were the attackers.
