MIAMI Fla. -- Workers found an 11-foot python on a construction site in Florida.
They say they were moving some pipes, when one slithered out.
One worker grabbed the head and one grabbed the tail before calling police.
They say the snake tried to bite them before officers arrived. The venom unit responded and safely removed the python.
One crew member said he's been in the job for 17 years and he's never seen anything like it.
Authorities say the python was likely an abandoned pet that grew too big to keep.
