HARTFORD- Standing directly next to the new Hartford Police headquarters on High Street, sits the old Isham-Terry House built in 1854. The historic home, ardorned by beautiful stained glass and original woodworking, is cared for by the group called Connecticut Landmarks and their staff says the place is haunted by the Isham family who spent their entire lives at the High Street address. “The Ishams are here, we know they are here, we can feel them,” said Sheryl Hack, the Executive Director of Connecticut Landmarks.

Connecticut Landmarks has sought the help of “Goners”, the Ghosts of New England Research Society who came with their extravant video and audio equipment looking for clues. Karen Hollis who is a psychic medium and lead paranormal investigator for G.O.N.E.R.S said, “we believe this house is very haunted and we believe its haunted by the family — its gorgeous why would you want to leave!”

Please note: The Isham-Terry House event was Friday, Oct. 24. You can find more information here on potential future events.
