Three arrested in pizza delivery driver robbery

VERNON – Police arrested two men and a woman in relation to the robbery of a pizza delivery driver Tuesday night.

Police said a 911 call came in for an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver Talcott Avenue near Woodland Street. Two men with a gun robbed a the driver of money and the pizza and fled on foot according to police.

Investigating officers determined the occupants of 21 Woodland St. were involved with the robbery.

Officers found Joshua Negralle, 20 of New Britain, and Jonathan Collins, 21 of New Haven, hiding in a closet. Several small children who were sleeping nearby. Police said Negralle and Collins were arrested and charged with the robbery. Investigators found items allegedly stolen during the robbery and a BB gun that resembled a handgun inside the apartment.

Also charged was Amanda Negron, 22, of 21 Woodland St. with assisting Negralle and Collins. Police said Negron gave officers a false statement and also made threats to a witness to discourage her from cooperating.

    Nothing less then 20 years in prison for all three. Make sure it’s a FULL 20 years too, no release a minute earlier. In reality we all know they will get probation and use the experience as an education in how not to commit armed robberies so they’ll be better at it next time.
