Today will be feel more like the end of October as high temperatures will average in the 50's, at least 10-15 degrees below yesterday's high of 71.  Halloween will be quiet this year as a cool a dry air mass will settle over the area, with temperatures averaging in the 40's and 50's.

Big Nor’easter will just miss Connecticut to the east over the weekend. With the exception of a few showers Saturday, expect no significant precipitation from that storm.  However, it will deliver a strong gusty 30-40 wind mph along with much colder temperatures.  The cold  air will not last that long however, as a warming trend will commence early next week with high pressure building off the east coast.  It will be mild again by Election Day.
