Two bears take it to the streets

Bear sightings are common around these parts- but bear fights? That’s a different story.

Nothing cute and cuddly about these bears.

Take a look at this fur-flying wrestling match that broke out in Rockaway, New Jersey.

What started in a front lawn eventually made it into the street with fur flying onto the pavement as these two bears had at it.

The video was shot back in August but was released online on October 14th.

Wildlife experts believe the bears are both males, most likely fighting over a female during mating season which usually runs from June to July but can extend into August.

These types of fights are not unusual for bears,  you just don’t typically see this type of aggression in a residential area.
