Looking forward to a rainy, chilly weekend

Today, Halloween starts with sunshine, but clouds win out quickly. The good news for the trick-or-treaters? The evening remains dry, but chilly, so keep a jacket close by for the kids.

As for the weekend, keep jackets close by for everyone, with windy and raw conditions expected as a storm tracks to the south and east. It’s a cold rain for us on Saturday, with winds that will make temperatures in the 40s feel more like the 30s. Sun returns on Sunday, but with the cold air and the winds, temperatures remain raw for one more day.

Halloween: Early sun, increasing clouds. High: low-to-mid 50s.

This Evening for the Trick-or-Treaters: Mostly cloudy, chilly, mid-to-upper 40s

Saturday (Nov. 1): Mostly cloudy, windy and chilly with a period of light rain and or showers. High in the 40s. Remember to set clocks back one hour Saturday night!

Sunday: Partly sunny, windy, chilly. High: the 40s

Monday: Mostly sunny, seasonable. High: 50s.

Election Day: Partly sunny, mild.  High: 60's
