East Hartford Doctor Sentenced To Five Years In Prison

EAST HARTFORD–Horvil Lebrick, 38, of Brooklyn, New York, has been convicted in relation to a triple homicide in an East Hartford apartment complex from 2010.

Lebrick, who has appeared in court for 56 different charges over the years, drove with three other men from New York to the WoodCliff Estates complex in East Hartford to rob a drug dealer on May 6, 2010. Two of Lebrick’s accomplices were shot and killed during the incident, as was a woman who was in the apartment when they forcibly entered.

Lebrick told a friend in New York about the incident, which led to his arrest on July 20, 2010. He was charged with murder during the commission of a felony, accessory to home invasion, conspiracy to commit home invasion, accessory to burglary in the first degree with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary in the first degree with a deadly weapon, attempt to commit robbery in the first degree with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree with a deadly weapon and accessory to assault in the first degree-discharge of a firearm. He has been held since that time on a $499,000 bond.

On Friday, a jury found Lebrick guilty of all charges. Lebrick had previously rejected two plea officers, including one that would have sent him to prison for 45 years.

Sentencing will take place on Jan. 8, 2015.
