Hartford  honored those who served our country on Sunday, with the 15th annual Connecticut Veteran’s parade.

The parade stepped off in downtown Hartford at 12:30 p.m.

Thousands of veterans from across the state marched– in what is known as the largest Veteran’s parade in New England.

The day will featured wreath-laying ceremony at 11:30 a.m. followed by the parade, and a moment of silence.

Members of the army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and National Guard will also be on hand.
