Hartford Parade Honors Thousands Of Veterans

Here is a list of special deals being offered for active duty military and veterans in the coming days. Always check in advance about the specifics and whether the location is offering the discounts listed below before you order.

Applebee’s is offering a free meal on Nov. 11. They are offering the choice of seven entrées and beverage and tip not included. Military ID or proof of service required.

Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ is offering active duty military and veterans free food, including all regular sandwiches, entrees, and 1/2 rack meal.

California Pizza Kitchen has specials on Nov. 11. Veterans and active military can receive a complimentary entrée from a special Veterans Day Menu at all participating California Pizza Kitchen restaurants in the U.S. excluding all airport, stadium, university locations for dine in only. Military ID or proof of service required.

Carrabba’s: Free appetizer (Customer’s choice) for active and retired military members who show proof of service – either in uniform or a military ID. No purchase required. No printed coupon.

Chili’s has specials on Nov. 11. They are offering seven entrées however beverage and tip not included. Military ID or proof of service is required.

Columbia Dental will provide free dental checkups and cleaning from 9 am to 1 pm on Nov. 11th, for U.S. Military veterans and men and women currently serving in the military at their main office In Manchester at 483 West Middle Turnpike, Suite 300 in Manchester. Patients will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. They will be asked to show their military ID.

Denny’s has specials on Nov. 11. 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Free build your own Grand Slam for all active, inactive, and retired military personnel. At participating locations only. You are advised to call ahead.

Friendly’s has free breakfast, lunch, or dinner.specials on Nov. 11. Some restrictions apply. Offer available for active military and veterans with ID or discharge papers. Participating locations only.

Golden Corral is offering a free meal, Monday Nov. 17, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Offer available for active military and veterans with ID or discharge papers.

Hooters has specials on Nov. 11. Active military and veterans can receive free meal, up to $10.99 in value with any drink purchase. Military ID or proof of service required.

Personal Touch Car Wash – Free car wash for veterans at any CT Personal Touch Car Wash location on Nov. 11

LongHorn Steakhouse has specials on Nov. 11. Complimentary Texas Tonion and non-alcoholic beverage. Offer available for active military and veterans with ID or discharge papers.

Outback Steakhouse has specials on Nov. 11. Get a free Bloomin’ Onion and a non-alcoholic beverage. Available to Military Personnel and veterans with ID. In addition get 15% off your purchase from Nov. 12-Dec 31, 2014.

Radiology Associates of Hartford (RAH), is celebrating Veterans Day, by offering free lung screenings on Tuesday, November 11 at all three of its central Connecticut locations to veterans and active duty military members. Anyone with a valid military ID and a written order for the scan from their doctor can get a free lung CT scan at RAH’s Avon, Enfield and Glastonbury locations during regular business hours.

Red Lobster has specials from Monday, Nov. 10 to Thursday Nov. 13, 2014. Free Appetizer on Veterans Day with military ID or proof of service.

Sizzler Restaurants has specials on Nov. 11. Free lunch will be served until 4 p.m. Customers will be able to choose from choice of three entrees, and a free coffee, tea, or fountain drink. Valid with proof of military service. Dine-in only, other restrictions apply.

Starbucks, has specials on Nov. 11. They are offering a free tall brewed coffee for active duty, veterans, and spouses at participating stores only. They advise to call ahead.
