OXFORD – Herobuilders, an action figure manufacturer that’s no stranger to controversy, has introduced an ‘Ebola-free’ nurse figure complete with a poked out eye.

The doll bears a resemblance to Kaci Hickox, a Maine nurse who promised to defy quarantine for health care workers who’ve treated Ebola patients.

Herobuilders has made headlines in the past with action figures based on politicians like Hillary Clinton, Presidents Bush and Obama, and Sarah Palin in addition to other names in the news.

The nurse action figure wears a crop top, a black jacket and white pants. There is a red x over her eye and she comes with an ‘Ebola Free’ Certificate that says “Nurse Case E  Doll.” The doll sells for $30.
