WALLINGFORD – A nearby water main break resulted in students at Lyman Hall high school being dismissed early Thursday.

Lyman Hall High School will be closing at 11:55 a.m. Thursday morning. The water is to  be turned off to the school so that the Water Department can resolve the problem.  Transportation for those students who normally take the bus home was to be provided.

The break at Wharton Brook Drive and South Elm Street also affected homes in the area.
