Neighbor breaks into home in West Haven, leaves behind driver’s license

WEST HAVEN–A man was arrested by West Haven Police on Friday after breaking into a home.

The homeowner confronted the unknown man in his house on Savin Avenue, and police were able to identify the suspect because he left is Pennsylvania driver’s license behind.

Police broadcast the information, and an officer soon saw a car with Pennsylvania license plates being driven by a man matching the suspect’s description.

Kyle Hejner, 29, is originally from Pennsylvania, but he currently lives in the same building as the man whose home he broke into. He was arrested and held on bond.
