ASHFORD — An Ashford man was arrested just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday after leading state troopers on a motor vehicle pursuit with marijuana in his car.
A state trooper pulled over Kyle Robinshaw, 20, of Ashford, on Route 74 and detected the odor of marijuana coming from the car.
After a second trooper arrived on scene, Robinshaw drove off, leading to a pursuit. During the pursuit, Robinshaw lost control of his car, which landed on its roof on Route 44.
Robinshaw was not injured and arrested without incident.
State troopers discovered roughly 10 ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the car.
Robinshaw is charged with several motor vehicle violations and drug-related charges, including possession and intent to sell.
Robinshaw is due in court on November 24.
