#Snowvember: Buffalo’s best social media posts of historic snowfall UPDATED

BUFFALO — A combination of the cold arctic air and the warm waters of the Great Lakes is creating historic snowfall just south of Buffalo, New York. At least six feet of snow has fallen, leaving people stranded in their homes. Thanks to Facebook, Twitter, Vine and YouTube, we’re seeing plenty of incredible images of the weather’s impacts.

You may have seen photos like this one, but many of them are years old. This one is new:

The deer was eventually freed.

The Niagara University women’s basketball team found themselves stranded on a bus, stuck in the snow.
