Driver dies after crashing into carpet store

ENFIELD- Police are investigating a deadly late night accident at the Al’s Carpet store on Hazard Avenue in Enfield.

Police first responded to the accident around 9:30 p.m. where they found  a vehicle crashed into the building.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are expected to give an update about this accident later this morning.
