Old Saybrook customers without water after water main break

OLD SAYBROOK – A water main break has left customers without water Monday morning.

The break happened near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Main Street. Police said water was off to an area along Main Street starting at Maple Avenue continuing down to Saybrook Point is off including the North Cove section of Town.

Water is expected to be off until the afternoon. Connecticut Water company is repairing  the break. Police said Maple Ave and Main Street may have traffic delays.
