HARTFORD — Prepare yourself for some happy tears. Grandma “Boop” has been trying to get into the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for 30 years. For her 83rd birthday in October she got quite the surprise.
She gets to be on a float and dress up as one of the many clowns in the parade.
