NEW HAVEN–A 17-year-old was shot when trying to run from a robbery.
A group of three men approached the teen, and when he suspected he was about to be robbed he tried to get away. One of the men pulled a handgun and fired a shot at him.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Detectives collected ballistic evidence and are investigating the incident, but there is no description of the suspects.
