Coca-Cola wants to start selling milk.
But not any old milk- they want to sell premium milk.
What makes it premium?
Coke says their milk will have 50% more protein, 30% more calcium and half the sugar of regular milk- but at a higher price.
It’s called Fairlife and Coca-Cola North America told analysts at a Morgan Stanley conference last week that they’ll charge twice as much for it (compared to the regular stuff).
So far Fairlife is only being sold in select test markets but Coke plans to launch their ‘super milk’ nationally, sometime in 2015.
