NEW HAVEN – A convicted sex offender plead guilty to charges that he failed to register his address.

Christopher Agritelly, 30, formerly of New Britain, failed to register on the Sex Offender registry. He was arrested in Tempe Arizona. Agritelly was convicted in 2007 of sexual abuse and sent to prison. He initially complied after his release but then failed to register according to officials.

In August 2013, he failed to respond to an address verification request and also failed to report to his state probation officer.

On January 29, he was arrested by law enforcement in Tempe, Arizona and has been detained since then. He will be sentenced in February where he could face 10 years in prison.
