HAMDEN–Police confirm a victim was shot at least once in Hamden on Thursday afternoon.
At least one gunshot hit the victim in the face, but the victim was alert when transported to the hospital.
The incident occurred outside on a sidewalk near Easton Street and Dixwell Avenue. A nearby worker told the victim to stop and wait for the paramedics. This worker says the victim was only shot once, in the chin.
