BRISTOL–Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Bristol on Tuesday evening.
At 5 p.m. a lone white male entered the Webster Bank, located at 797 Pine St. He showed a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as white, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-2 with an Eastern European accent. He was last seen wearing all black clothes, a black knit mask and baseball cap, a black hoodie and a black over coat.
A distinguishing feature may be if he tries to use money with red dye markings. While exiting the bank, a bunch of cash that was equipped with marking dye packs exploded, contaminating the stolen money.
